This year National Holstein Convention was hosted in Salt Lake City, Utah. My younger brother, Trey competed in the Prepared Public Speaking contest. I competed in the Dairy Jeopardy contest and placed 1st with the State Digital Scrapbook. I was also recognized as a National Distinguished Junior Member Semifinalist. After convention was over, we took a family sightseeing trip through Utah, Wyoming and South Dakota. We got to see incredible sights such as Devils Tower, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, the Badlands, and the Corn Palace. Once we made it back to Brookings, I was able to give my family a tour of Brookings and the SDSU campus.
